The first novel I read by Sutherland was house of hollow. It was amazing and gruesome.
Sutherland will from here on out be someone I always will want to read, an automatic purchase. We all need someone like that in our life. The invocations was an amazing story.
The main characters are three girls: Jude, Zara, and Emer. All three come from very different backgrounds and each story is laid out so well. On this journey you read where these ladies work to obtain and manipulate magic while trying to solve a murder. If you decide to read this novel prepare for demonic activity, witches, and a serial killer.
The moment I began this novel I didn’t want to put it down.
I love more about this novel is that it includes the LGBTQ community. And the cover is beautiful. I stared at that cover more times than you know.
