There's something powerful about a trio of girlies that I just love. And they're witches? We love to see it.
I fully understand that this is a YA novel, and have to admit that I am a bittt older than the usual target demographic for the genre. With that being said, I feel like the beginning was maybe trying a tad bit hard to appeal to teens, but I did eventually adjust to the writing style.
I love books that alternate between POVs of the main characters. All three girls are written really well, and their viewpoints are definitely distinguishable from each other.
The plot had the right amount of dark, twisty weirdness. Some of the gory descriptions were not my personal favorite, but that's a personal preference, and it's not going to be keeping me awake at night or anything lol.
