This book is 400 pages of witchy girl power. In the world that Jude, Emer, and Zara live, only women have power. There are strong themes of feminism throughout this book. Three young women band together to take down a woman killing serial killer. I love the creepy vibes on the cover! I think it perfectly represents the book.

The plot and characters were interesting, but at times I found the book to be a bit of a slog to get through. I hate to say it took me over a month to finish. I just never felt fully invested in the characters. There was almost too much detail given. It started to feel repetitive. I definitely think it could have been a bit shorter, but that’s might just be a me issue.

This wasn’t a bad book, but it didn’t meet my expectations. I think I had really high hopes for this one after reading House of Hollow. I’m glad so many readers are enjoying it.
