The Invocations was gutsy, gritty, and gruesome! It was vivid, vivacious, and vehement! It was a bloody fantastic metaphor symbolizing the inner strength, and struggles, of women, taking back our power, not allowing ourselves to be, or be treated as, powerless and/or victims, and embracing our inner demons! It was dark, gory, and horrifying in all the best ways, and full of humor, emotion, and gusto!

Right from the prologue, the tone was set. Chills were felt. Darkness and danger were anticipated. Emotions were running high. And, the story became a driving force, burning powerfully as the trio propelled it along.

It was a ferocious, no holds barred story portraying the age old problems in society between men and women. It was a bite back showing that we are done being perceived as weak playthings for men who seek power over us. Our gusty trio symbolized our rights as females to not be made to feel like victims. They became the shadows in the night, hunting men who would hunt us all.

Emer, Jude, and Zara were fierce, flawed, feral females! Queens in their own right. Powerful witches to their cores, with their own personal inner (and a few outer) demons. Each was courageous, beautiful, and strong. Three unique voices, personalities, and back stories of loss, grief, struggle, loneliness, and finding their individual ways to deal with it all. A vividly vicious trio that you'd definitely want fighting with you.

The Invocations was spellbinding. A slow burn with a gloriously fiery ending that keeps on blazing. It was intense, irresistible, and incredible. A knockout punch screaming "We will not go down without a fight!" with "We are the weirdos, Mister" vibes.
