I'm bummed I didn't like this book! It was one of my most anticipated reads and had so much hype. Unfortunately, I don't think it lived up to the hype at all. It was on the boring side for me and I didn't like any of the three characters. It was very Jack the Ripper with paranormal elements, which sounds amazing, but not executed very well. A for effort I guess. I had a hard time investing in the three girls as I couldn't find much that was ver distinguishable between them and eventually they all just blended together. On top of that, the plot was predictable. I just slogged through the book hoping that it would pick up and it never did. The beautiful cover does capture the characters pefectly, but that's the best thing about the book in my opinion. I loved the author's previous book, so I was pretty disappointed when this didn't give the same excitement and twisty plot with relatable characters.
