Witches and demons take over London and young girls' lives. Jude, Zara, and Emer are all dabbling in the mystic and demonic arts for various reasons, some of them not known to us yet. I really like Emer so far, her ingenuity is quite something as she lives under the radar at Oxford college.
This isn't a genre I usually read. This novel does invoke a creepy feel and details the grossness of demonic possession. I would be interested in how the three characters connect and what happens to them all.
