House of Hollow caught my attention from the getgo. Something about The Invocations just isn't doing it for me. I thought once the prologue ended and chapter one began it would get better, but the writing just isn't doing anything for me. I just wasn't feeling this one. I wouldn't read more to find out what happens next. The cover is striking AND creepy. It's a big win.
