The story isn't to my taste. I think the writing style is nice and well written, but at the same time, it makes me feel detached from the story. Which might work with this type of story, it will allow you to create a dark tone easily. That's where my problem lies, I don't go for books that will be this dark. I do think it would make a really good story that will be well liked. But, it just isn't for me.
