The beginning of this book perfectly lured me in as we get the characters inner thoughts and dangerous situation as she walks home. Then, to find out there is a magical aspect and pledges to demons! I'm hooked. The cold, fall atmosphere and Halloween reference at the beginning of the book make this a perfect book for the upcoming spooky season!
