Upon beginning this First Look I was drawn in by 2 things right off the bat, the fact the Prologue begins on Halloween which is my favorite time of year so the theme is a win for me & the fact the author writes in a tone where everything has such a heavily visual descriptive that you are left with very vivid imagery of everything being seen & felt by the character in the scene. Once I continued into the present character story after, it was just as interesting to read. I love books with lots of details so right away I knew I wanted to keep seeing where this story goes!
