The Bright Sessions is one of my favorite podcasts and I have been looking forward to reading this book since it was announced. One of the things I love about this book is that you don't have to listen to the podcast to enjoy the book. Lauren does a wonderful job introducing us to the world of Atypicals through Caleb and Dr. Bright. We learn the details behind Caleb seeing Dr. Bright and get to see therapy through his point of view and how he sees the world. The way in which he views everyone's feelings as an empath is also very well thought out. We also get to experience Adam's perspective of everything and I really enjoyed getting to know him better. While this book is very centered around Caleb and Adam, we briefly meet a few other characters that leave you curious for more details. I can't wait to read more when the rest of the series is released!
