Superpowers in ordinary life

I will say that if I had Caleb's power of super empathy, I would have definitely decided to be homeschooled far off in the mountains away from people. Caleb sure is strong and a good guy too even when he is bombarded by everyone else's emotions.

I liked how most of this book was just about Caleb trying to live a normal life, in spite of his burgeoning super power. His and Adam's story is really cute and it was cool how the yellow and blue were able to meld together to be the green that Caleb needed. After reading about that, it was really cool to look back at the cover of the book and understand it.

I know this is based off a podcast and so there might be more information but I did not really like the barely mentioned shadow organization that tracked down Atypicals. They either should have been cut entirely in the book or had a bigger part. Maybe the author is going to write more so I will say that this was an enjoyable read.
