Loved this book. Easily a 5 star read. This book is unlike any other. The premise was so unique and it really pulled me into the story. I was a big fan of the characters and I thought the abilities of the people really matched the characters. The relationships were really realistic even with the fantasy elements. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series and cannot wait until to read them and hopefully experience the characters again. My biggest regret is that I can’t read this book for the first time again. I am defiantly going to listen to the podcast that this book is based on. Lauren Shippon is an amazing writer and is fantastic at world building. Truly a work of art.
