I absolutely adored everything about this story. The slow-burn romance between the two leads was executed perfectly. I usually think enemies to lovers is a more satisfying trope than friends to lovers, but the two boys in this book completely won over my heart. One thing that I found really interesting in this book was the therapist in the book. The fact that the main character regularly saw a therapist who knew about his abilities I thought was an important part of the book. I think that overall, she changed to main character’s life for the better. For some reason, this wasn’t a 5 star read for me, but I’m not sure why. The way the two main characters truly cared for each other and helped each other through their emotions was what really sold this book to me. I’m excited to read the next one!
