YA high school teen romance - with a twist!

I'm really looking forward to this one! I love queer high school students shyly testing out their feelings for one another, and it seems like they've both got feelings in spades. Caleb's Atypical empathy angle is quite compelling, since sensitive jocks are a favorite trope of mine, not going to lie. Adam is a nerd who's into the macabre. What could possibly go wrong? :) I'm interested in both the romance angle AND the supernatural angle present here, and honestly I want to check out the author's podcast now.
