The cover has nice art and shows the age range the book is for. I personally dislike the entire premise of the story, however. Neuro-atypical people already face so many stereotypes, one of which is the idea of “savants” or having a superpower. This is often meant to be inspiring but actually comes off as dehumanizing because it further “others” this group. I could see this book being helpful for some kids who are really down on themselves, but I don’t think it’s the best way to tackle these issues.
