When I first heard that this book was going to be written, I was equal parts excited and skeptical. However, I should have known that reading even such a small excerpt of this story would feel like rediscovering a sweater in my closet that I haven't worn for a while. And by that I mean, even just a few sentences into "The Infinite Noise", I instantly remembered how warm Caleb and Adam's story made me feel upon first coming across it via podcast, how well it fit me, and how much I loved (and love, present tense) it.

I can already tell that "The Infinite Noise" is going to be well-written and full of emotion (fitting for a story about an empath and his boyfriend), and I'm counting down the days until I can read the rest of the novel. I truly believe that not only will this work be a fitting continuation of the Bright Sessions universe that Shippen & co. have started, but that it will also read just as well for those who have not listened to the podcast and are just looking for a cheesy queer rom-com. (PS. the cover is insanely perfect, and I can't stop looking at it)
