I hate to write negative stuff and I’m not sure how to rate this book. If I rated it based on how I though it sounds based on a whole and what readers like, I would say four stars. But I’m going to rate it based on how I would like it personally. First of all, I don’t like the cover. But on the flip side, I think it appeals to male readers more. Which leads me to the main character being male. I like that. We don’t get a lot of books now days about male main characters and them having empathy. This is great! The biggest turn off for me is the fact that it has LGBTQ, or whatever those initials are, elements. I just don’t like it in my reading. On a positive note, I feel like this author has an amazing imagination! This is so unique and I hope it is a big hit.
