I’ve been an avid fan of Lauren Shippen’s podcast, The Bright Sessions, for a long time now. Caleb and Adam are two of my favorite characters in the whole production (I even named my car Adam!), so when I found out the book followed the two of them and their relationship, I was ecstatic and deliriously happy. The cover is beautiful beyond words and exactly what I always pictured whenever Caleb would describe his power through colors. I want to read more because I am so excited to see a different perspective on some of my favorite characters ever. I also want to keep reading because I’ve always felt a connection to Adam, what with being the child of two doctors who rebelled and became an English major. I also related to a lot of the challenges he went through in the podcast and cannot wait to see how it translates into print. I anticipate The Infinite Noise above all the other 2019 releases.
