The dual protagonists had me hooked right away! At first, Caleb sounds like a typical angry teen sitting in therapy, but then we get clues that he's Atypical. We don't know exactly what Atypical means yet, but we do know that Caleb feels others' emotions too deeply. I think it's a great decision to make this character male, as books with feelings as a central issue too often have female main characters.

We barely meet Adam, but he seems to be stuck inside his own head instead of being ultra-aware of those around him. I'm excited to see how these two interact.

Oh, and what an amazing cover--it fits the novel perfectly!
