I am so excited to read this book in its entirety. I am a high school English teacher and am always looking for books that better reflect my student population, not just in race, gender, and religion, but also in their unique make-up. This book seems to be just that! I appreciate that the author is tackling this issue and from what I can glean, it seems that it works to build understanding and empathy, but also works to reflect how mental illness and disorders impact everyday life. This is a topic that is avoided and misunderstood... we need more books like this!
