I must admit, I actually forgot this book was about superhuman individuals for a good minute. That sounds pretty stupid considering the book's description highlights its focal role in the story, but the author's writing made it so easy to get sucked into the mundane and normal aspects inherent in the characters' daily lives. When the superhuman aspect of the story entered the picture, I was likewise captivated. Not only are they unique, but they are presented in a manner that I've never read before. I think the fact that both these superhuman and mundane aspects were able to grab and hold my attention in such a manner demonstrate that this book will undoubtedly be a future favorite. I'm so excited!!!
