I love this whole idea of empathy and it going out of control in some kind of magical realism ability. Caleb seems like a good guy, a little slow but very relatable. Adam felt like he was already in love?! I wasn't so sure about him... but I do LOVE that we read both of their POVs and get a sense of them coming together. I always love that in books I read. I'm excited to see where this goes and how their relationship impacts this empathy.
