The blurb told me this was the type of novel that wouldn’t interest me. Following characters in high school feels too young for me but I have to say it’s very well written and far more interesting than I expected. I’m confused by the empath thing which sounds like a special ability but seems to be accepted like it’s no big deal and very quickly diagnosed.
