I instantly empathized with the main character, Caleb. I'm excited to see where the "Atypical" moniker will go with Caleb and his gifts, and how it will tie into his relationship with Adam - hopefully, that is, there will be a romantic relationship as well as friendship!
The cover drew me in immediately - so full of color, which drew me to the two boys on the cover.
As a middle school teacher, and I do "first chapter Friday" with my students. Reading just what I've read so far, I can promise this book will be well-loved by young adults, and I can't wait to read more!
