This was my first book by Chloe Benjamin. The premise of the book was so intriguing. I ripped through this novel in a day or two. The novel follows the lives of four siblings who lead their lives thinking they know the date of their death. The novel follows each sibling in sequence, and I had thought there would be more intermingling of their lives. Each sibling copes with the knowledge of the day of their death in different ways which certainly makes the story interesting. The first sibling story is somewhat predictable. The other siblings' stories are more interesting. Again, I thought the four stories would be better intersected since it is a family story of four siblings. Instead each sibling's story occupies a chunk of the novel rather than intertwining together. I think the concept of the novel was amazing. The execution was missing something to tie it all together, and maybe discuss some of the bigger issues of destiny/fate vs choice.
