I feel like I am in a minority here. It was an ehhhhhh read for me. 2.5 stars which I rounded up because the only sibling I truly enjoyed reading was Varya. I found that of all the siblings she did the most profound thing if you knew the date of your death. The rest of the siblings, I couldn't be bothered with. I really wanted to love this book but it didn't happen for me. The book just did not hold a candle to other family drama, literary fiction, and the like I have read so far this year.
I think this was just not the book for me. I just never really formed a relationship with the characters which caused me to not really care what happened with this in the end. I wanted to enjoy this book so much more.
