I picked up this book because my book club was thinking of reading this for one of our selections.
The concept of the book was good. 4 children go to a gypsy type woman and she tells them when the will die. There are 4 parts to the book - one part for each of the characters. They all die on the date the gypsy/fortune teller said. The question is was it fate or because the character expected to die on that day and they made it happen. Would they have made the same life choices if they didn't know? Would they be different people?
My problem with the book was I just couldn't seam to care about any of the characters. I didn't like them, I didn't care what happened to them. Good concept just poor execution.
