This is the story of 4 siblings who visit a psychic to find out the day of their death. After hearing it, they are stunned, but live their lives fulfilling the prophecy. It was sad and heartbreaking. These children never lived the lives the way they could have because they had a date in their minds. The family was torn apart.
I don’t think I would want to know the date of my death. I would constantly be thinking that I only had x number of years left. While this was an interesting concept, I didn’t care for the characters. Not only were they mostly sad and depressing, they weren’t the type of people I would want to have in my life. I think people get consumed with death and dying and this was an example of that. Just love your life to the fullest, and be kind to everyone! Don’t take unnecessary risks or live your life recklessly!
