This book occasionally left me struggling to suspend my disbelief, but overall it was a very quick and engaging read with some interesting musings contained within. If you don't mind some wacky plot events, too close for comfort stereotypes about gay men, and on page suicide, give it a go. I love books with sibling dynamics and thought that they were presented in an intriguing way in this book, but after a while it began to feel a though I was reading five totally different and disjointed books, and not in a good way. I would recommend this book for readers who enjoyed The Goldfinch as well as Ellen Hopkins' YA verse novels. Overall, reading this book was not a waste of time at all and I am glad that I did, but it left me unsure of what to feel about my experience. Despite and probably due to the internal conflict this book caused me, it stayed with me long after reading.
