After a sneak peak of 35-pages, I'm excited about this book. The beginning shows a little of each siblings' personality, and foreshadows the future they can expect to have. Sibling love is an interesting thing, and the author showed a good understanding of this, with children making changes decisions just "because", as kids did, but also reasonable and believable decisions. I'm sure someone somewhere would read this and say "unbelievable, no real person would say that", but that someone is no fun and never did anything interesting. As a teenager I would have paid real money to go find a shaman-gypsy-witch doctor to tell me my future. What the children do with this information is what I'm looking forward to reading.
