While I don’t think a three star review is bad at all, I was let down by this book as I had very high hopes for it. When I read the description and other reviews I was really excited. I did enjoy the concept of the book, but I had a hard time caring about any of the characters or what happened to them.
The writing in this book was fantastic. It was also well paced. But I just kept finding myself thinking “okay, so what?” It just wasn’t as interesting of a read as I think it could have been. Knowing your death date before hand could have had so much potential but I think it just fell flat in a couple of places.
I would still recommend this book because I think it was just my preferences that affected this review. I think many other people will love this book.
