This story focuses on the lives of the four children and I felt that the magical touch was just in the beginning and nothing after. I was a but disappointed, but kept reading to lean about the Golds since I already knew their predictions!! Wow I was amazed how the story turned out...the familial bond, faith and destiny is explored in the eyes of Simon, Klara, Daniel and Varya. I can easily say that The Immortalists is one of the good literary-historical fictions I’ve read!!
