The Immortalists starts off with four siblings finding out the possible/probable days of their respective deaths. They all receive different answers, and what they do with these answers is something that I am dying to find out. The characters are compelling, and the novel is set from the late 60's in New York City. After 35 pages of this novel, I am wanting more. I don't know if I would want to know the date of my death, but I am intrigued by how different people would react and deal with this information. Especially since the siblings get this information when they are quite young, and have so many options on how to live their lives. I will definitely seek out this thought-provoking novel, so I can see where it goes.
