We open upon an introduction of a main character that would belong in r/menwritingwomen, had it not been written by a woman. Way to break stereotypes. So within two sentences we are acquainted with the state of the young character's crotch and breasts. We are shortly thereafter introduced to the time period... in the form of a list of things that happened in 1969 as if we are reading from the Wikipedia page.

The premise is not horrible yet not wholly one-of-a-kind, a collection of siblings find out the day they are to die from a mystic, and then it presumably follows them through their lives. Unfortunately the writing is just quite awkward, I would think that this is intended for a younger audience than I originally took it as, and then it tells me about the long hidden corridor of the vagina.

All-in-all, the excerpt just gives me no reasons to want to keep reading.
