I was lucky enough to get an ARC of The Immortalizes. Since then, I have talked it up to anyone and everyone who will listen. The author does a fantastic job o building complexity into each and every character. As the perspective shifts to follow each of the four siblings, you find them individually at times selfish, trying, loving, hopeful, depressed, joyful, giving, defeated. It's a journey with each and every one, and truthfully I would have read an entire series featuring one sibling per book.

The mystery underlying the premise of the book is carefully stoked throughout, it's not inherently given but not also dismissed or revealed strictly. Instead, the interplay between faith, fate, and choice is woven throughout the narrative to leave you questioning yourself and each event that happens.

LOVED.
