The summary of this book stuck with me when I first read it, and while the book itself didn't really match up to what I was expecting I still really liked this book. It's less about the plot and more about the character development. This may lead some to find this book boring, but I was interested in the interaction between characters. It followed four siblings, who find out the day of their deaths as young children, through their lives. This book had a realistic way of portraying the family dynamic. Not all families are perfect, or get along, or even talk. This book touches upon the different ways in which siblings can interact with each other; some of them talking every day while others haven't spoken in years. The dates of the deaths play a smaller role than expected, but at the end of the book you are left wondering who affected who more: the gypsy or the siblings.
