I received a free copy of The immortalists by Chloe Benjamin from Bookish First for my honest review. A chilling and exciting thrill of a read. Beautiful and detailed writing. This book is a story about the four Gold Siblings. They all decide to sneak out of their New York home and go to visit a traveling fortune teller. The fortune teller predicts the date of each of the children's deaths. I love how this book was written in four different sections pertaining to the life of each of the four siblings. You get to see how each of the siblings are affected by the fortune teller's prophecy as they grow up. Two of the children live very careful lives and the other two live very reckless lives. The two careful children are angry with the two reckless children for being so reckless. An amazing, top notch read.
