If you had the opportunity to learn the exact date of your death would you want to know? Four sibling children anxiously approached a gypsy fortune teller to learn their fate. It was meant to be a fun and exciting revelation but each child left feeling afraid and anxious for their future. The gypsy’s prophecy forever changed their lives from that day forward.
As the four children grew up into adulthood they never spoke of that day until they were together again after their father’s funeral. Was the gypsy correct? Or, did they direct their path in life with that prophecy in mind.
This book was a wonderful suspenseful story. The character development of each of the four siblings was excellent. Each person had a very different personality and their family dynamics and life paths chosen were portrayed in a realistic and interesting way. I think this book is going to be a big hit in 2018. I am now planning to read the author, Chloe Benjamin’s, first novel called The Anatomy of Dreams because I really enjoyed her style of writing.
