Is knowing when you are going to die a good thing? If that date is far off and you are in your eightys of nintys, maybe. That's so far away as to not count for much. But shorter time, when you will still be young or feel like you are still young, it may be more of a blight. Why make long term plans if you don't have long term? It feels like this book might examine that idea.
