I've heard good things about this book, so I was excited to read an excerpt. It lived up to my expectations. Somehow, Chloe Benjamin infused her words with palpable magic that sparkles off the page. Sometimes, when I love a book, I get a feeling like I want to hold the author's words on my tongue and roll them around in my mouth to savor and appreciate them. I felt this way about "The Immortalists." Obviously, every word was chosen with care for precision of language. I can't wait to read more.
