"The Immortalists" reminds me of "Everything I Never Told You" by Celeste Ng. It has the same nostalgic vide with complex family problems. The beginning of the novel is a bit dry for my taste but the story definitely picked up. Overall, the prose is beautiful and if the correct voice actor is chosen, I will definitely be picking this up as an audiobook.
