If you knew the date you would die would it change how you live? That's the main question the gold siblings have to answer as they grow to adulthood and become the people they want to be. I'm very intrigued by how this is going to play out for each of them. It looks like Klara and Simon are already affected by this knowledge, even though they say that they don't believe the prophesy. From this short excerpt I already feel like I know each of the siblings so well. I hope Simon can find happiness in whatever time he has left to live. Wouldn't it be interesting if in the end the fortune teller is a fake and the prophesies do not come true yet the siblings live their lives according to what she told them as children? There are so many fascinating ways this story could go in and I want to read more and find out which path it takes!
