The characters in this story are siblings and, like most siblings, each one is on their own mission. The time period in which the story opens, the 1960's, is particularly close to my heart. The eldest sister and I would be about the same age. The mysteries of life are just beginning to unfold and the first taste of independence sends all the siblings on an adventure to an exotic and intriguing woman who can predict the day a person will die.
This story is very well written and after only a taste, it left me wanting more! I am excited to learn what happens to the family after their father dies and they begin to go their separate ways.
The cover of the book is fantastic as it seems to depict a "family" tree and it will be interesting to know how the branches of that tree grow.
