I had to slog through this first look. The description of the book sounded really interesting and I had high hopes. I just didn't get sucked into the story. Perhaps it gets better as you get into the book but basing it in this peek, I don't know. I'm confused by the characters, the timeframe, and the relationships. Just didn't grab me.
