captivating storytelling and original premise

This book starts off interesting and left me wanting to know how it plays out for each of the Gold children. It has a beautiful cover that drew me in immediately. I can see how it pertains to the story as it has leaves of different colors as in the different reasons of ones life. I can't wait to see how each of the children love their lives knowing the exact date of their deaths. It makes me wonder what I would do with that information. I really liked the authors polished writing style. It drew me into the story and really set the scene.
