I cannot wait to find out what happens to the Gold children as they grow and live out their fates. Benjamin's writing reads like a beautiful piece of music. It flows wonderfully and doesn't leave the reader cringing due to poorly chosen words. Her style takes the reader from the present and into the story itself. It's as if I am there with the Gold children; observing and taking note. Truly beautiful, I am excited to have this book in my hands and immerse myself in this world.
