A little bit modern, YA to adult lives. Good writing and plotting, though the characters don't really inspire us. Many of the characters were likable in their own way but not enough captivating.

There was some fun little twist and a couple of wild ideas Ruthie of telling a summer vacation story. The book mixes rich and non-rich world, facts about social class, greed, devotion, friendship and love.

The cover portrays the summer theme, however, not totally attractive.

Ruthie lives in Long Beach Island town, working hard whilst things seem so easy for the rich. Then she loses everything only to find herself again. Told in multiple points of view, this story gives a glimpse into the lives of the rich and famous.
