First off, I love the cover- it is simple but yet makes you wonder what the book is about. It seems like a summer read.
I was drawn in immediately by the author's narration- I like when books are in third person especially. I like the story about the summer vacationers living in the main person's house, and the daughter and soon to be ex husband.
I can't 100% tell what the book is going to be about past this sample. It seems like there is a lot more to it so I would be interested in reading more. I like books that are easy reads and chiclit and this appears to be what kind of book this is. I sort of lost a little interest mid-way through but got interested again toward the last chapter
