Ok, so I don't necessarily think this is a bad book I just don't think it was for me. The writing was good and normally I like "beach reads". However, I just didn't really like the characters in this book. I have read books about entitled rich people before with the author managing to make me empathize with them, in this one not so much. I really wanted to empathize with Ruthie (I know she was not as rich as the others but she was still able to afford a beach house 9 months out of the year so that puts her a little ahead of most) and I did for a bit but she just kept whining and not really doing anything about her situation, other than some devious stuff that didn't help me like her. And the others were just.....cliche.
